sasai kudasaiささい ください · notes on learning japanese

why "sasai"

2025-11-30

些細 (ささい) means trivial, small, not worth mentioning. I found it in a manga where a character says 些細なことだ and it stuck.

The name is a dumb joke, "trivial things, please". It's grammatically wrong, ください doesn't go with a na-adjective like that, I know. Keeping it anyway.

The idea is that this place is for small notes. Not "how to learn Japanese in 6 months", just things I noticed, mistakes I made, little tools. I started about two years ago, mostly with apps, then got serious-ish last year.
